Dear Ms. Neeson,
How do we train with you? Alternatively, could you recommend a school in Toronto? What do you think of the American training school, Court Reporting At Home (CRAH)?
Thank you so much for your help.
Sincerely,
Maria Diaz
Hi Maria, thank you for your question. Training isn’t given to shorthand court reporters in a firm until they have successfully completed their training at an accredited court reporting school. There are many to choose from as most are now online. However, the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) does offer an excellent in-class program, however they are in Edmonton. Unfortunately I can’t recommend one online school over another – you should certainly look for blogs and comments with regard to finding comments from current and recently graduated students! I hope that helps!
